Ella remains OBSESSED with everything Dora. And to be honest, I don't think we're helping. Brian and I took her to buy her birthday party stuff -- ALL DORA -- at Walmart last weekend. She wants to play with it all and we keep telling her to wait for her party. So now she asks, "Where's my party?" (referring to the party STUFF.)
I have rather lofty ambitions of making a Dora cake. I'm sure it won't be of "David Cummins" caliber, as I use a specialty cake pan and don't make stuff up off the top of my head, but I'm hoping my Mom and Sis can help out.
Back to the Dora thing... Ella wanted me to leave the bathroom and go into the living room with her the other night. She said, "Come On Momma, Vamanos." Make that three Spanish words she's learned from Dora. I guess all the torture watching endless hours of it hasn't been for naught.
